Plain Cake And Applesauce Topping - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 1/2 to 3 c. milk
2 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. flour
1/2 stick oleo
dash of salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. applesauce

Preparation

Mix first 6 ingredients together.
Cook until thick.
Add vanilla and applesauce.
Serve hot over slice or square of plain cake.
