Refrigerator Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium head cabbage
    1 onion
    1 bell pepper
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. vinegar
    1/3 to 1/2 c. oil
    1 tsp. celery seed
    2 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Grate or shred cabbage, onion and bell pepper.
    Mix salt and sugar and spread over top of grated mixture.
    Let stand 1 hour. Mix vinegar, oil, celery seed and 2 tablespoons sugar.
    Bring to a boil and let cool.
    Pour over cabbage mixture.
    Will keep in refrigerator for 1 week.
