Gourmet Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 stick butter
    1 1/4 c. brown rice
    1/2 c. slivered almonds
    10 pieces chicken (breasts preferred)
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 can cream of celery soup
    1 can onion soup
    1 can beef consomme
    1 soup can water
    1/2 c. cooking sherry
    2 oz. Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Melt butter in large roasting pan.
    Spread brown rice in bottom of pan.
    Stir in slivered almonds.
    Lay chicken pieces on rice.
    Heat soups and water separately; add sherry to hot soup mixture.
    Pour mixture over chicken.
    Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
    Bake uncovered for 3 hours at 275\u00b0.
    Yields 10 servings.
