Ingredients

2 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
1 (8 oz.) can pineapple tidbits
1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 (16 oz.) can sliced beets, drained
Preparation

In saucepan, combine first 3 ingredients.
Stir in pineapple with syrup.
Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and bubbles.
Add butter and lemon juice; stir.
Add beets and heat thoroughly.
