Twinkie Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box Hostess Twinkies, cut lengthwise and placed in bottom of 8 1/2 x 11-inch pan
    1 large pkg. vanilla pudding (instant)
    1 can cherry or strawberry pie filling
    1 large tub Cool Whip
    chopped nuts
Preparation
    Mix pudding according to package directions; let set 5 minutes, then pour over Twinkies.
    Layer on top of pudding the pie filling, then the Cool Whip and top with chopped nuts.
