Hamburger Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 Tbsp. shortening
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 (20 oz.) can corn, drained
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    5 medium mashed potatoes
    1/2 c. warm milk
    1 beaten egg
Preparation
    Saute onion in shortening.
    Add beef, cook until brown and crumbly; drain.
    Add corn and soup.
    Pour into greased pie dish. Combine mashed potatoes, milk and egg.
    Spoon in mounds over beef mixture.
    Bake at 350\u00b0
    for 30 minutes.
