Beef Vegetable Soup(Busy Mom Version) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. onion, chopped
    1 pkg. Hamburger Helper (beef noodle)
    5 c. water
    1 bay leaf
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, chopped
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen mixed vegetables or 2 c. cooked
Preparation
    Brown ground beef and onion; drain.
    Stir in sauce mix, water, bay leaf, salt, pepper and tomatoes (with liquid).
    Heat to boiling, stirring often.
    Reduce heat, cover and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes.
    Stir in noodles and vegetables. Cover; cook 10 minutes longer.
    Preparation time:
    30 minutes.
