Caribbean Carrots - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. carrots, sliced 1/2-inch thick
    2 peeled sweet potatoes, cubed 1/2-inch thick
    1 (20 oz.) can pineapple chunks, drained (reserve the juice)
    1/4 c. water
    2 Tbsp. light brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 tsp. soy sauce
    1 tsp. vinegar
    1/2 tsp. grated orange rind
    1/4 c. golden raisins
    dash of salt
Preparation
    Place carrots in vegetable steamer; cover and steam for 2 minutes. Add sweet potatoes and steam for 8 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
