Aunt Beaulah'S Spaghetti Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium onions, chopped
    3 sweet peppers, chopped
    2 hot peppers, chopped
    1 clove garlic, chopped
    1 pkg. tomatoes
    1 c. cooking oil
    4 small cans tomato paste (6 oz.)
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. oregano
    1 Tbsp. basil
    1 tsp. parsley
    3 bay leaves
Preparation
    Cook all vegetables (onions, peppers and garlic) with tomatoes until all are well cooked.
    Run through food mill.
    Mix rest with vegetables.
    Cook until thick, at least an hour or more.
    Take out bay leaves.
    Pack in hot jars.
    Have lids hot.
    Can process in hot water bath.
    Makes about 8 pints.
