Ingredients

1 egg
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. flour
1/4 Tbsp. milk
2 Tbsp. baking powder
2 Tbsp. melted fat
Preparation

Beat egg, milk and fat.
Then add dry ingredients and beat until smooth.
Place 1 tablespoon salt on griddle (or iron skillet) and rub with a paper towel.
Shake off the salt.
When your hot cakes are covered with bubbles, turn.
Serve with melted butter and equal parts of honey and orange juice, or just plain syrup.
