Fruit Cobbler - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sliced peaches or blueberries (I often use blueberry or cherry pie filling, omitting the sugar)
2 c. sugar (if using fresh fruit)
1 stick butter or margarine
3/4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
pinch of salt
3/4 c. milk
Preparation

Mix
fruit with 1 cup sugar (if using pie filling, omit sugar).
Put
butter
in deep pan or casserole and set in 350\u00b0 oven
to
melt.
Stir
up
batter of 1 cup sugar, flour, salt, baking
powder
and
milk.\tPour
over
melted butter.
Do not stir.
Put fruit on top.
Bake 1 hour or until crust is golden brown.
Batter rises to top during baking.\tBake at 350\u00b0.
Top with vanilla ice cream or Cool Whip.
