Syrian Meat Pies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    1 tsp. salt
    dash of ground pepper
    8 oz. plain yogurt
    3 oz. pkg. pine or pignolia nuts
    1 pkg. hot roll mix
Preparation
    Prepare roll mix according to directions on box.
    While dough is rising, mix other ingredients in bowl and let stand a short while.
    Refrigerate until ready for it.
    After dough has risen, pinch off enough to make 1 to 1 1/2-inch balls.
    Cover cookie sheet with wax paper or dish towel.
    Place balls on cookie sheet, cover with another towel and let rise again.
    Roll each ball into a circle about 4 inches in diameter.
    Put 1 heaping tablespoonful meat mixture in center.
    Bring up edges to center and seal.
    Bake 30 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven or until lightly browned.
    Reheat when needed.
