Green Beans Mexicali - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 6 slices bacon, cut in bite size pieces
    3 lb. fresh green beans, cleaned with ends cut off
    1 small onion, chopped
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 can Ro-Tel diced tomatoes and green chilies
    1 can stewed tomatoes
    1 can water
Preparation
    In a large pot, fry the bacon until done.
    Remove all but about 2 tablespoons of the bacon dripping. Add the green beans, onion, salt, pepper, Ro-Tel tomatoes and water to the pot. Simmer on medium for about 45 minutes. Add water as needed.
    Carefully stir to coat beans.
