Reba'S Hot-N-Chunky Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 onion, chopped
    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    2 cloves garlic
    2 lb. stir-fry beef
    28 oz. whole tomatoes
    6 oz. tomato paste
    3 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 tsp. dried oregano
    1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1 c. water
Preparation
    In saucepan, cook onion in vegetable oil 3 to 4 minutes.
    Add garlic, stirring 1 minute.
    Remove to plate.
    Add beef stir-fry in batches and cook until well browned, 5 to 6 minutes.
    Return onion and garlic with beef to saucepan.
    Add tomatoes and next 4 ingredients and water.
    Cover and simmer, stirring occasionally to break up tomatoes.
    Cook 1 1/2 hours or until beef is tender.
    Add green pepper.
    Continue to simmer, stirring occasionally, another 30 minutes.
