My Mom'S Caramel Popcorn - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 to 6 c. popcorn or 1 bag microwave popcorn (remove all unpopped kernels)
1/4 c. light corn syrup
1 stick butter or margarine
1 c. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix the corn syrup, margarine and brown sugar together and bring to a rolling boil.
Boil for 1 full minute.
Remove mixture from heat.
Stir the salt, baking soda and vanilla into the mixture.
Mix all ingredients thoroughly.
Spread popcorn into a greased roasting pan.
Pour caramel mixture over top of popcorn. Toss popcorn until completely coated with caramel mixture. Bake for 45 minutes in preheated 250\u00b0 oven.
Halfway through cooking time, toss popcorn mixture.
Remove from oven when done.
Let cool in pan or spread in clumps on lightly greased waxed paper.
