Toffee Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter or margarine
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sifted flour
1 c. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped nutmeats
Preparation

Cream butter, sugar and vanilla.
Add flour.
Mix well.
Stir in chocolate chips and nutmeats.
Press mixture into ungreased jelly roll pan.
Bake 25 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Cut into bars while still warm.
Cool before removing from pan.
Makes 5 dozen.
