Hawaiian Yams - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 or 5 large sweet potatoes
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 c. evaporated milk
    1/2 can flaked coconut
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cook potatoes in water; peel and mash.
    Add other ingredients. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Ten minutes before done, put the topping on.
    Bake for the rest of the 10 minutes.
