Chicken Pie(Club Member: Terah Smith) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 chicken, boiled and deboned
    2 c. plain flour
    1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
    2/3 c. shortening
    1 c. ice water
    4 c. broth
    3/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Measure and sift flour. Mix flour with shortening and ice water. Divide into 4 balls. Roll balls out thin and cut into dumplings, saving enough dough for top crust. Bring broth to a boil; add chicken and drop dumplings into broth.
    Pour into baking dish. Place top crust on and slit in several places. Lift crust in about 3 places around edges and add 1/4 cup milk at each. Place under crust. Top with thin slices of oleo. Place in 400\u00b0 oven and bake until crust is brown.
