Vegetable Soup Mix - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. each: baby limas, field peas, speckled butter beans, carrots and peas and sweet corn
    3 potatoes, cubed
    2 to 3 onions, chopped
    1 tsp. basil
    1/2 tsp. thyme
    1/2 to 1 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. celery seed
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. salt
    1 tsp. minced garlic
    2 c. okra
    6 lb. 10 oz. can tomato sauce
Preparation
    Boil vegetables, salt and sugar in tomato sauce according to package directions, stirring occasionally.
    Add spices and allow to cool completely.
    Pour into 1-quart freezer bags and freeze until needed.
