Milky Way Bars(Tastes Like Caramel Brownies -- "Gewy & Chewy"!) - cooking recipe

1 box German chocolate cake mix (Betty Crocker SuperMoist)
2 eggs
1 c. evaporated milk
1/2 c. or 1 stick butter, melted
14 oz. pkg. caramels
12 oz. bag miniature chocolate chips
1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Combine and mix dry cake mix, 2 eggs, 1/2 cup evaporated milk (save other 1/2 cup for later) and melted butter.
Spread 1/2 of this batter into a 9 x 11-inch metal greased and floured pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
Cool 20 minutes.
Melt in double boiler unwrapped caramels and 1/2 cup evaporated milk. Pour caramel mixture over cooled baked batter.
Sprinkle 12 ounce bag of miniature chocolate chips and 1 cup chopped pecans over caramel.
Spread remaining uncooked batter over chips and bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
Cool minimally 1 1/2 hours before cutting.
