Crescent Caramel Swirl - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. margarine
    6 Tbsp. chopped nuts
    1 c. brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. water
    2 cans crescent rolls
Preparation
    In a small saucepan, melt the margarine.
    Coat bottom and sides of a 12 cup fluted pan with 2 tablespoons of the margarine. Sprinkle pan with 3 tablespoons of chopped nuts.
    Add 3 tablespoons chopped nuts, brown sugar and water to butter in pan. Heat to boiling.
    Remove rolls from cans.
    Do not unroll.
    Cut each section into four slices, separating each pinwheel slightly to allow sauce to penetrate.
    Put slices from one can in the pan. Spoon half the sauce over dough.
    Top with remaining slices, then rest of the sauce.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 30 minutes, until golden brown.
    Cool for 3 minutes.
    Turn onto serving platter.
