Holiday Pears With Creme Chantilly - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. water
    1/4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1/4 tsp. ground mace
    6 to 8 medium pears
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen raspberries, thawed
    Creme Chantilly
Preparation
    Combine water, sugar, lemon juice and ground mace in a shallow 2-quart casserole, stirring until sugar dissolves.
    Set aside. Peel pears, leaving stems intact.
    Place pears in sugar mixture; spoon over pears.
    Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 minutes, or until pears are tender but still hold their shape.
    Carefully remove pears from sugar mixture.
    Discard sugar mixture; return pears to casserole.
