Fruit Cocktail Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 egg, unbeaten
    1 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 medium size can cocktail
Preparation
    Mix flour, sugar, soda, salt and egg altogether; then add the can of fruit cocktail.
    Place in ungreased 9 x 9-inch pan.
    Spread 1/4 cup brown sugar and pecans on top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes.
