Grandmother Durham'S Gingerbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. molasses
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. Crisco
1 c. boiling water
2 tsp. soda
2 eggs
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
3 c. flour
Preparation
-
Add soda to boiling water; mix all other ingredients in order given.
Pour batter into 13 x 9 x 2-inch greased and floured pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 55 minutes.
Serve with Cool Whip.
