Cracklin Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. self-rising cornmeal
    1/2 c. self-rising flour
    1 large egg, lightly beaten
    2 c. milk
    1 c. cracklins
Preparation
    Mix
    cornmeal
    and flour.
    Add egg and milk.
    Stir just until dry ingredients are moistened.
    Stir in cracklins.
    Heat a well-greased
    10-inch cast-iron skillet until good and hot. Pour batter
    into
    skillet.
    Bake
    at
    450\u00b0 for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
    Yields 8 to 10 servings.
