Macaroni-Tomato Cheese Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) pkg. macaroni
    3 c. stewed tomatoes
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    3 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded and divided
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cook macaroni per package directions minus 2 minutes.
    Drain and rinse with hot water.
    Pour into large mixing bowl.
