Ham And Potatoes Au Gratin - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 ham steak (1/2-inch thick; 1 1/4 lb.)
1 medium onion, sliced
1 (5.5 oz.) pkg. au gratin potatoes
2 1/4 c. boiling water
2/3 c. milk
Preparation

Trim fat from ham.
Heat fat in pan to render.
Remove rendered pieces and saute onion in drippings until soft.
Stir in potato slices, sauce mix, boiling water and milk.
Cut ham into bite size pieces and add to potatoes.
Bring to a boil, stirring frequently.
Lower heat and cover; simmer for 30 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
Garnish with parsley, if desired.
