Roasted Chinese Chicken Wings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 lb. chicken wings, disjointed, (discard tips)
    3/4 c. butter
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 c. soy sauce
    1 to 1 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    3/4 c. water
    1-2 tsp. crushed red pepper (to taste)
    1/2 to 1 tsp. Chinese Five Seasons spice powder
    2 star anise (broken into pieces)
Preparation
    Put all ingredients except chicken into medium saucepan and heat over low heat until butter is melted and sugar dissolved. Arrange wings in single layer in large shallow baking pan.
    Pour sauce over wings and roast in 350\u00b0 oven for 2 hours, turning wings after 1 hour.
    Serve hot. Can be made and heated up in oven next day or in crock-pot.
