Jello Fruit Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 c. fresh or frozen fruit
    1 (4 oz.) box fruit Jell-O (same flavor as fruit)
    1 baked pie shell
Preparation
    Mix sugar, cornstarch and water.
    Cook until thick.
    Remove from heat.
    Add box of Jell-O and cool.
    Place fresh or frozen fruit in pie shell.
    Pour sauce over fruit.
    Chill and serve with whipped topping.
