Fruit Cocktail Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 (16 oz.) can fruit cocktail
    2 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 eggs, beaten well
Preparation
    Mix all together.
    Pour into ungreased 9 x 13-inch pan. Sprinkle 1/2 cup of brown sugar or less on batter.
    Add 1/2 cup of pecans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
    Cool.
