Cocktail Rye Pizza Snacks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. Italian sausage
    1 lb. hot bulk pork sausage
    2 lb. lean ground beef
    1 c. finely chopped onion
    1/2 green pepper, chopped fine
    2 Tbsp. oregano
    1 tsp. garlic salt
    1 lb. processed American cheese, cubed
    1 lb. Mozzarella cheese, cubed
    1 lb. Longhorn or Colby cheese, grated
    3 (8 oz.) loaves party rye bread
Preparation
    Remove casing from Italian sausage; crumble sausage into large skillet.
    Add pork sausage and ground beef.
    Add the onion and green pepper.
    Cook thoroughly, stirring constantly, until meat is browned.
    Drain well on paper towels; also wipe the skillet.
    Then return meat mixture to skillet.
    Add seasonings and mix well. Heat through until hot, then stir in cheese until melted.
    Remove from heat.
