Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 c. flour
3 Tbsp. sugar
3/4 c. shortening
1 pkg. yeast
1/2 c. lukewarm water
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
2 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients together. Cut in shortening. Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water. Add buttermilk and dissolved yeast. Mix until moistened. Cover bowl and place in refrigerator until ready to use. When ready to use roll on floured board to 1/2 or 3/4 -inch thickness. Cut with biscuit cutter. Bake in 400\u00b0 oven 10 to 12 minutes. (Dough will keep several days.)
