Pork Chop Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 stick butter or margarine
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 c. uncooked rice
    1 can consomme soup
    1 small can mushroom pieces
    6 medium pork chops
Preparation
    Melt butter in heavy skillet.
    Add onion and rice. Simmer until onions are transparent.
    Add 1 can consomme and 1 can water. Add mushrooms and bring to a boil.\tArrange browned chops in bottom of buttered casserole and pour rice mixture on top.\tBake at 350\u00b0 for 45-55 minutes.\tServes 6.
