Sunday Night Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 onion, diced and sauteed
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef, browned
    14 oz. can mushrooms
    23 oz. can tomatoes
    1 c. diced celery
    1/2 c. green pepper
    2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    2 tsp. chili powder
    1/2 clove garlic, diced
    1 tsp. oregano
    1 (14 oz.) can kidney beans
Preparation
    Put first 3 ingredients in large pot.
    Add the tomatoes, celery, pepper, salt, ground pepper, chili powder, garlic and oregano.
    Cover and boil.
    Reduce heat and simmer for 45 minutes. Add kidney beans and simmer for 30 minutes.
    Serves 8 to 10 people.
