Solid Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

4 sq. bitter baking chocolate
measuring c. milk
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. Crisco
4 egg yolks
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
4 egg whites
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Heat chocolate and milk.
Mix sugar and Crisco.
Add egg yolks. Add cool chocolate mixture.
Keep a little out of last cup of flour and add remaining and add baking powder.
Add stiffly beaten whites of eggs and vanilla.
Beat one way.
