Water Chestnuts In Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 lb. bacon
3 or 4 cans whole water chestnuts
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. ketchup

Preparation

Cut bacon strips in half.
Wrap around water chestnuts and place on a cookie sheet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 until bacon becomes slightly browned.
Mix sugar and ketchup and after draining fat from pan, pour over water chestnuts and bake until sauce begins to thicken.
Serve warm.
