Chocolate Yeast Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    2 c. sugar
    3 eggs, beaten
    2 oz. melted chocolate
    3 c. sifted flour
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. finely chopped nuts
    1 cake yeast
    1/4 c. warm water
    1 tsp. baking soda
    3 Tbsp. boiling water
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs and chocolate.
    Add flour alternately with milk, mixing well.
    Add vanilla and nuts.
    Soften yeast in warm water and mix.
    Add to batter and mix well.
    Let stand, covered, overnight.
    Add mixture of soda and water; mix very well.
    Bake in a tube pan for 1 hour and 15 minutes at 325\u00b0.
