Pizzaiola Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. olive oil
    2 cloves garlic, halved
    1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes
    4 basil leaves
    1/4 tsp. oregano
    2 Tbsp. fresh parsley
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/4 tsp. red crushed pepper
    1 lb. spaghetti
Preparation
    Heat oil in
    skillet
    and
    saute
    garlic
    until golden. Remove and discard garlic.
    Add tomatoes and squash with fork. Stir in rest of
    ingredients
    and
    cook until sauce comes to a boil. Lower heat to a
    medium
    simmer
    and cook 15 to 25 minutes, uncovered.
    Serve
    over
    cooked
    spaghetti with Parmesan cheese, if desired.
    Makes 4 servings.
