Chili Rellenos Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    3/4 tsp. salt
    3 (4 oz.) cans green chilies
    1/2 c. flour
    2 c. milk
    6 well beaten eggs
    3/4 c. chopped onions
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    2 1/4 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
    3 tsp. salt
    several dashes Tabasco sauce
Preparation
    In skillet, brown ground beef and onions.
    Drain.
    Add salt and pepper.
    Cut green chili in half lengthwise and remove seeds. Place half chili in large baking dish (greased).
    Spread meat mixture over chili; top with shredded cheese.
    Arrange remaining chili over mixture.
    Combine remaining ingredients; beat until smooth.
    Pour over meat-chili mixture.
    Bake at 360\u00b0 for 45 to 60 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean.
    Let cool 5 minutes and cut into squares.
    Serves 12 people.
