Mom'S Meat Loaf - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. tomato sauce
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 Tbsp. white vinegar
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
1/2 c. evaporated milk
1/2 c. oats (quick or old fashioned)
1/2 c. chopped onion (finely chopped)
1/8 tsp. black pepper
1 egg, slightly beaten
Preparation

Combine the first 6 ingredients with salt in saucepan, mixing well.
Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Combine ground beef with half the tomato sauce mixture and remaining ingredients, mixing well.
Shape into loaf shape and place in loaf baking pan. Pour remaining tomato sauce mixture over meat loaf.
Place 2 strips of bacon over the top.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 minutes.
