Banana Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
2 c. sifted flour
1/4 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. mashed bananas
1/4 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream sugar and shortening; add eggs.
Sift together flour and other dry ingredients.
Add to creamed mixture with milk and bananas; add vanilla.
Beat until smooth.
Bake in 3 greased and floured 9-inch cakes pans at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
Good with Creamy Nut Frosting.
