Congo Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 3/4 c. flour
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 lb. butter
    1 lb. brown sugar
    3 eggs
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    2 c. chocolate chips
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Melt butter.
    Add brown sugar, eggs and vanilla. Add dry ingredients and mix well.
    Add chocolate chips and nuts.
    Bake for 20 to 25 minutes at 375\u00b0.
