Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium potatoes
    3 c. water
    3 c. milk
    2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. black pepper
    Chives (optional)
    1/2 stick butter
Preparation
    Cut potatoes in small cubes.
    Pour in water and cook until tender on low heat.
    Put milk, salt, pepper, chives and butter in and bring to a slow boil.
    Cook for approximately 3 minutes.
    Good plain or garnished with grated cheese.
