Barbecued Chicken - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (3 lb.) chicken
1/4 c. salad oil
2 onions, in 1/4-inch slices
1/2 c. chopped celery
1 c. catsup
1/4 c. lemon juice
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
2 Tbsp. prepared mustard
1 c. water
2 to 3 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 Tbsp. white vinegar
Preparation

Brown the chicken slowly in the salad oil.
Remove chicken. Add the onions and celery. Cook until tender. Add the remaining ingredients. Season. Simmer 10 minutes. Skim off excess fat. Place chicken in baking dish and pour sauce over and bake, uncovered, in slow oven at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/4 hours or until tender and done. Baste occasionally.
