Apple Pie-Deep Dish Style - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
12 c. thinly sliced pared apples (about 10 medium)
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1 pkg. pie crust mix
Preparation

Stir together
sugar, flour, nutmeg, cinnamon and salt; mix with apples.

9 x 2-inch baking pan, dot with butter.
Heat oven to 425\u00b0.
Prepare pastry for one crust pie. Fold pastry in half; cut slits near center.
Unfold over fruit in pan; fold
edges until just inside edge of pan.
Bake 1 hour or until juice begins to bubble through slits in crust. Best served warm.
