Hash Brown Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (2 lb.) pkg. frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
    2 (8 oz.) cartons commercial sour cream
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of chicken soup (undiluted)
    2 c. shredded sharp cheese
    2 c. corn flake crumbs
    1/4 c. butter, melted
Preparation
    In a large mixing bowl, combine thawed potatoes (be sure they are thawed well), sour cream, onion, soup and cheese.
    Spoon into a large, buttered baking dish.
    Sprinkle buttered corn flake crumbs on top of each.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 1 hour.
    Yields 12 to 16 servings.
    This dish freezes well.
