Sausage And Macaroni Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. elbow macaroni
    1/2 lb. fresh sausage
    1 onion, diced
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1/2 green pepper, diced
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 lb. sharp cheese
Preparation
    Cook macaroni and drain.
    Fry sausage, onion and green pepper until lightly brown.
    Stir in flour and salt.
    Add milk.
    Cook over low heat until thickened.
    Stir constantly.
    Place alternate layers of macaroni and sausage in greased 1 1/2-quart casserole. Pour balance of sauce over all.
    Top with cheese.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for approximately 25 minutes.
    Serves 6.
