Sausage Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. R.B. Rice's hot sausage
    1 can kidney beans
    1 1/2 c. tomatoes
    2 c. water
    1 small chopped onion
    1/4 c. green pepper, chopped
    1/2 c. diced potatoes
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    1 bay leaf
    1/2 tsp. garlic salt
    1/4 tsp. thyme
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Brown and drain sausage.
    Combine all ingredients, except sausage, and cook, covered, until potatoes are done.
    Add sausage. Heat 5 to 10 minutes longer.
    Remove bay leaf and serve.
