Jewish Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 to 6 cut up apples
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    5 Tbsp. sugar
    3 c. flour
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. oil
    4 eggs
    1/4 c. orange juice
    3 tsp. baking powder
    2 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Sprinkle apples with mixture of cinnamon and sugar.
    Set aside.
    Combine all other ingredients in order given and beat to a smooth batter.
    Pour 1/2 batter into greased angel food pan. Arrange 1/2 the apple mixture over the batter and cover with the remaining batter.
    Top with the rest of the apple mixture.
    Place in preheated oven at 350\u00b0 and bake 1 1/2 hours or until cake is golden brown.
    Turn carefully out of pan and let stand on rack to cool.
