Angel Food Pies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. angel food cake mix
2 pkg. (4 serving) chocolate instant pudding and pie mix
3 c. milk
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1 (16 oz.) container frozen nondairy topping, thawed and divided
1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Bake and cool cake as directed on box. Cut in half horizontally with serrated knife.
Place on plate with cut sides up.
Cut cake 1 1/2-inches from outer edge, down 3/4-inch and through to center.
Gently pull cake out to leave 1 1/2-inch wide rim.
Fill center hole with removed cake.
Do both pieces.
